Rain Chances Continue through Saturday

CENTRAL ILLINOIS-- A cut-off low pressure system across northern Kentucky continues to pull moisture east out of the Atlantic. Scattered showers continue to be the theme for the rest of the night.

The low is not expected to move much over the next 48 hours. It will retrograde to the west keeping scattered showers going through Saturday evening.

The low will finally lift to the northeast Sunday bringing an end to the shower threat! A few clouds could linger through the early part of the day before clearing from west to east.

High pressure will take over our weather Monday through Wednesday with highs warming back near 80 by Wednesday!
