DECATUR -- At no point in Eisenhower's history have the Panthers started the year 5-0. Until this season. It's also the most fun a team has had, probably in the school's history. Coincidence? Nope.

"On Fridays we're all business," head coach Drew Wagers said, "but during the week we'll have a little fun and you know we'll mix it up in practice and if someone makes a big play or a big hit, they get excited."

The jokes fly, and with unrelenting frequency. Case in point: senior receiver Stephon Bobbitt gave 250-plus pound running back/utilityman Tymon Scott a jovial greeting at the beginning of Thursday's practice.

"Tymon, why you still got your shoulder pads on?" he said to Scott, the team's unquestioned x-factor whose size makes him look like he, well, has shoulder pads on even when it's just a t-shirt.

But this season is about history, both ongoing and retrospective. To hear about the special pedigree of this group of seniors before they even put on a Eisenhower uniform, hear from Coach Wagers himself in this video.
