Strong numbers reported in first 2 days of Early Voting

DECATUR - Macon County Clerk Steve Bean reports numbers on first two days of early voting. Bean says 240 Macon County voters have cast their ballots in Early Voting and more than 300 people have registered to vote at the State Board of Elections online voter registration site. Bean says his office has been swamped with mail request for absentee ballots and have begun to work overtime and use part time help to catch up. Bean urges voters to use the numerous Early Voting hours to cast their votes before Election day November 8th. For more information on Early Voting visit the Macon County Clerk website.
