Taylorville ChilliFest 2016 Winners


TAYLORVILLE- If chilli was on your mind then this weekend Taylorville was where you needed to be. The 2016 Taylorville Chilli Cook off ushered in a new 'red-chilli' winner, Linda Carroll-Greene of Taylorville won $750.00, a trophy and will go on to compete in the ICS World Championship in 2017. 

Both days of chilli competition were sanctioned by the International Chilli Society. Sunday's competition was the Central States Regional.

In chilli verde judging Sunday at the Greater Taylorville Chillifest, first place winner was Scott Barrett of Willow Springs, Illinois, who won 200-dollars, a trophy, and will compete in the I-C-S World Championship in 2017.
