American Red Cross seeking blood donations during October

ILLINOIS - Central Illinois residents are being encouraged by the American Red Cross to donate blood during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

Red Cross officials say donations are needed for cancer patients, who may need blood products during chemotherapy, surgery, or treatment for complications.  Individuals of all blood types are encouraged to donate.

10/27/2016: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Charleston High School, 1603 Lincoln Ave
10/30/2016: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m., Salisbury Church, 2350 East Madison
10/31/2016: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., Andrews Hall, 2150 7th St

Mattoon:
