CHAMPAIGN - Parkland College is inviting central Illinois residents who wish to enroll in the school to participate in workshops designed to help prepare them for placement tests.

The workshops will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from October 4 through December 14 in Parkland College's Center for Academic Success.  Current high school students are encouraged to attend two workshops, on October 10, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., and November 23, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Participants in these workshops will discuss the Accuplacer test, and learn strategies that will help them maximize their scores on the test.
