Decatur man convicted of attempted aggravated criminal sexual assault

DECATUR - A Decatur man has been found guilty of the attempted aggravated criminal sexual assault of an elderly person in connection with a 2014 incident.

According to court records, David McGee, 37, was convicted on October 4, 2016.  McGee also faced a charge of unlawful restraint, but was acquitted.

McGee is due back in court for sentencing on November 16, 2016.  He faces between four and 15 years in prison.
