Weekend Cool Down Followed by a Warming Trend

CENTRAL ILLINOIS-- A cold front will pass through Friday afternoon bringing a cool down in time for the weekend. A trough will dig south allowing cooler air to filter into the Midwest. Highs on Saturday will only warm into the middle 60s.

The cool down will be short lived as warmer air will once again return to the area. Average highs for the early to mid part of October are near 70. The 6-10 day outlook (October 11th thru 15) calls for above average temperatures, along with the 8 to 14 day (October 13th thru 19th).
