SANGAMON COUNTY - Illinois State Police say they are investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in a lane reduction on Interstate 72 Thursday morning.

ISP officials say the crash happened on I-72, near mile post 107, at 5:41 a.m.  According to the preliminary investigation into the crash, troopers say a 2005 Volvo truck-tractor semi-trailer was traveling westbound when the driver lost control and left the roadway to the right.  Authorities say the vehicle overturned onto its side, coming to rest across the westbound lanes of traffic.

No injuries were reported in this incident.  Potential citations are pending the completed investigation.  Lanes of traffic were reduced while crews worked to remove the vehicle from the area.
