Learn the History of the Staley Bears for $2


DECATUR - Macon County Historian to present Decatur's Connection to the Chicago Bears.  The Macon County History Museum at 5580 North Fork Road will host Historian Mark Sorenson as he explains how the 1920 Staley Football program started and why the team moved to Chicago in 1921. He will also talk about what became of the men associated with one of the two oldest franchises in the NFL. The presentation is Saturday, October 8th at 1:30 p.m. The admission fee is $2.
