"It Happens Here" raising awareness of domestic violence

CHAMPAIGN - Stories of domestic violence survivors will be shared during the biannual "It Happens Here" event on October 11.

It Happens Here will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Student Dining and Residential Programs building.  University of Illinois students will share anonymous stories submitted by fellow students, staff, faculty, and community members.

This event is being held to help raise awareness of domestic violence during Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October.  For more information on events being held during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, click here.
