Effingham Police release traffic advisories for Luke Bryan concert

EFFINGHAM – Effingham City safety officials are issuing a travel advisory ahead of the Luke Bryan concert happening in town this weekend.

The concert is scheduled to take place at Mid America Motorworks, in Effingham on North Route 45, on Saturday, October 15.

Those attending the concert are barred from parking on North Route 45. Any vehicle doing so will be removed. Parked vehicles are also not allowed to block or obstruct roadway traffic, driveways, roads or bridges.

Motorists are advised to follow all posted traffic signs, as well as IDOT electronic signs.

All ADA, limos and RVs should use Gate 4 when entering the concert. Traffic control officers will also be on site and should be obeyed.

Those in need of up to date information can tune their radio to 97.9 or 102.3.

Anyone not attending the concert is urged to seek an alternate route around or through Effingham. Traffic delays along North Route 45 (North 3rd Street) from Technology Drive to 1800th Street should be expected.
