Macon County Health Department hosting flu shot clinic

DECATUR - The Macon County Health Department is inviting central Illinois residents to attend a walk-in Flu Shot Clinic on October 12.

Officials say the clinic will be held at the Senior Center in Decatur from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  Individuals with Medicare or Medicaid will not be charged for the vaccination.

The cost of the vaccination is $40 for individuals without insurance and under the age of 65, while the High Dose shot, given to senior citizens, will cost $55 without insurance.
