Paper Shredding Event to Be Held For Macon County Residents


Decatur-The Decatur/Macon County Salvation Army and Macon County Environmental Management will hold a paper shredding event to destroy documents with personal information on them.

It will be Tuesday October 25, 2016 from 10-noon at the Salvation Army on 229 West Main Street in Decatur.  Papers and files with any personal information will be shredded on site.  You can bring up to 5 boxes of papers, and you don't need to remove staples or paperclips.

The Salvation Army will be collecting canned goods, but its just a suggested donation.
