Springfield-  CWLP says all 1,600 customers in major outage areas have had power restored. The final 300 customers in S. 6th St. area were restored by 7:50 pm after wires twisted together near the Cornell substation were identified and repaired.

Power was restored to more than 1,000 customers in the Toronto Road and lake area along with Hunting Meadows, Crows Mill and Lake Pointe subdivisions shortly before 7pm. The outages were caused by a broken pole near N. Cottonhill West Park.

Likely 100% of current outages will be restored by 10 pm. Any customers without power or other electric trouble to report should call 789-2121 to report.
