Gusty Winds Knock Down Tree Limbs and Damage A Car


MACON COUNTY - Gusty winds knocked down several large tree branches, with a tree falling onto a car Monday evening in Forsyth. 

Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph with wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph were measured across central Illinois Monday afternoon.

A large tree limb was knocked down at the corner of Prairie and Pine, near the Millikin homestead on Decatur's west side.

Gusty winds continued into the evening hours knocking over a tree onto a car at 145 S. Smith Street in Forsyth.
