From Dope to Hope

CLINTON - Wednesday, Nov 2. Tim Ryan, founder of A Man in Recovery, will be guest speaking at Clinton High School, telling his story of addiction and recovery.

For Tim Ryan, he had it all: a six figure salary, a home in the suburbs, but he lost it all for one thing: Addiction.

For years, Ryan struggled with his addiction to heroin, cocaine, other drugs and alcohol. Losing his family and friends, Ryan found himself in and out of rehab, jail and even multiple overdoses.

After spending time in prison, once released, Ryan's 20 year old son, Nick, died from a drug overdose, as he too had been exposed to drugs and was an addict.

Today, Ryan uses his son's death to inspire and educate those on their journey to recovery. This event will be held at 7 pm in the Clinton High School Auditorium. The presentation is free and open to the public.

More information about Ryan's story can be found here.
