Downtown Springfield, Inc. hosting two Halloween-themed events


SPRINGFIELD - Downtown Springfield, Inc. officials have announced two family-friendly Halloween-themed events will take place in Springfield later this month.

The first event, titled "Web, Where, and Why?," will be held on October 22 at Murphy's Loft, The Roost Coop, Springfield Vintage, Studio of 6th, Urban Sassafras, Wild Rose, and What the Shirt/Old Capitol Goods.  Attendees will be able to enjoy a scavenger hunt, prizes, games, snacks, and more.  This event will last from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The second event, the 12th Annual Halloween at the Marker, will be held in the Resource One park lot, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., on October 29.  Attendees will be able to enjoy costume contests, hands-on activities, and more.
