Boo at the Zoo running until end of October

DECATUR – Parents in Decatur do not have to worry about their kids missing out on the Halloween fun because Boo at the Zoo runs until the last week of October.

During Boo at the Zoo, the Scovill Zoo in Decatur is transformed into a Halloween wonderland.

Hundreds of Jack-o’-lanterns will guide guests through treat stations staffed by community volunteers. Guests are invited to take a ride on the Fright Night Express and the Endangered Species Carousel.

Those who want treats will pay a $4.75 fee, while those who do not want treats will pay $3.75.

Boo at the Zoo runs until October 30. These are the remaining dates as of October 19:

  • October 21: 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM
  • October 22: 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM
  • October 23: 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM
  • October 27: 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM
  • October 28: 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM
  • October 29: 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM
  • October 30: 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM
