Effingham police investigating November 28 retail thefts

EFFINGHAM - The Effingham Police Department is investigating two retail thefts that happened on the city's north side on November 28.

Effingham police say both thefts occurred at Walmart, located in the 1200 block of Avenue of Mid America.  The first theft happened at about 12:40 p.m., and 19 items worth approximately $3,354.17 were stolen.  The second theft happened at about 7:51 p.m., with 24 items worth $281.68 being taken.

Effingham police detectives continue to investigate these thefts.  If you have any information, you are asked to call the Effingham Police Department at (217) 347-0771.
