Mt. Zion police investigating theft of church's statue

MT. ZION - The Mt. Zion Police Department is investigating the theft of a statue from the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church's Nativity scene.

Detectives say the theft happened some time between November 25 and November 27.  The stolen statue was described as being one of the scene's "Three Kings," and stands about three feet tall.  Officers say the statue is a figure of a dark-skinned male in multicolored clothing, and that the statue is valued at about $100.
