Police need help identifying men after vehicle smash and grabs in Mattoon

MATTOON. Ill. (WAND) - Mattoon Police and Coles County Crimestoppers are asking for help identifying the men they believe are involved in area car burglaries.

Police say on July 7th around 10:10 a..m. a car window was smashed in Lytle Park and items were stolen from the vehicle. Later that day around 4:00 p.m. in the Planet Fitness parking lot another car window was smashed and broken into.

Purses, credit cards and checks were stolen during these vehicle burglaries. Police would like to interview the two men in the pictures.
