Ursula Beck Men's Pro Tennis Classic kicks off July 27

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Ninety-six tennis players from more than 20 countries will gather in Decatur later this month to participate in the USTA Ursula Beck Men's Pro Tennis Classic.

Aspiring tennis players will return to the Fairview Tennis Complex in Decatur on July 27 to compete for prize money and professional ranking points.  This tournament is expected to last for nine days, and is one of about 90 tournaments hosted by the United States Tennis Association every year.

A variety of events will be held during this year's Pro Tennis Classic, and a schedule of those events has been included below:

July 27: Heim Family Wildcard Showdown: 12 p.m.

July 28: Qualifying check in at Fairview Park Tennis Complex from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.    

July 29: 1st Round Men’s Singles Qualifying: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

July 30: 2nd Round Men’s Singles Qualifying: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

July 30: Doug and Peg Schmalz Junior Pro Am: 5 p.m.

July 31: Men’s Singles Final Qualifying: 10a.m. – 2 p.m.

July 31: Main Draws Doubles Sign in: Closes at 12 p.m.

July 31: Eagle Ridge Adult Pro Am: 5 p.m.

August 1: 1st Round Men’s Singles Main Draw: 10 a.m.

August 1: 1st Round Men’s Doubles Main Draw: TBA

August 1: Featured Evening Match: 5 p.m.

August 2: 1st Round Men’s Singles Main Draw: 10 a.m.

August 2: 2nd Round Men’s Doubles Main Draw: TBA

August 2: Featured Evening Match: 5 p.m.

August 3: The Falk Family Kids Day: 10-11:30 a.m.

August 3: 2nd Round Men’s Singles Main Draw: 10 a.m.

August 3: Semi-final Men’s Doubles: TBA

August 4: Men’s Quarter-final Singles: 10 a.m.

August 5: Men’s Semi-finals, Singles: 10 a.m.

August 6: Doubles Finals: 11am, Singles Final to Follow Doubles
