4 arrested for stabbing outside Lanphier High School


SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Police arrested four people for a recent stabbing outside Lanphier High School over the weekend. 

Police say they responded to the high school on Saturday night just before 9:30 for the report of a stabbing. They located a total of six victims who had been stabbed by several black males. 

The victims told police that Macivelly Lacy, 18,Donovan Bailey, 21, and a juvenile stabbed them. Police say the juvenile was treated at a local hospital for treatment he was later arrested and preliminarily  charged with aggravated battery, unlawful use of a weapon, and mob action.

Police arrested Lacy and Bailey and a second juvenile suspect on Monday at 10:49 p.m. in the 600 block of East South Grand Avenue. 

Lacy and Bailey were preliminarily charged with aggravated battery and mob action. The juvenile was preliminarily aggravated battery, unlawful use of a weapon, and mob action.  

In a previous version of this story police reported only three victims. They have since clarified to say there were six victims.
