CHAMPAIGN -- Head coach Brad Underwood might be new to the Braggin' Rights rivalry involvement-wise, but it's by no means a new concept to him as a longtime observer of the series.

Illinois' first-year leader shared his thoughts on the importance of winning the St. Louis showdown with Missouri, which is coming to the Scottrade Center on Saturday in a 7 p.m. tipoff. He said he expects a Tiger squad that hoists roughly half its shots from 3-point range and has the ability to go +10 in rebound margin.

One Illinois player who has extra reason for excitement is Champaign native and childhood Illini fan Michael Finke, who waxed nostalgic about his memories of the rivalry on Thursday at his media meeting.
