Decatur Walmart celebrates grand re-opening

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Decatur Walmart celebrated its grand re-opening Friday morning.

It was one of 16 stores that was planned to be remodeled this year in Illinois.

Improvements to the store include an online order pick-up area in the front of the Supercenter, a state-of-the-art electronics department with interactive displays, an updated apparel department with new fitting rooms, and wider aisles with lower fixtures.

A ribbon cutting was held at 8 a.m. at the store.

The store also presented a $500 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Illinois, the African American Genealogical Society, and Richland Community College.
