MT. ZION -- Familiar faces were all over the turf at Mt. Zion High School on Wednesday at the Braves' 7-on-7 round robin.

Bloomington High was on hand with its new head coach, former Warrensburg-Latham leader Scott Godfrey. Morton also rolled into Macon County with a St. Teresa graduate at the helm of the program in Tim Brilley.

The two squads took turns squaring off against each other plus Springfield High and host Mt. Zion. Highlights included senior Illinois commit Griffin Moore (who will play tight end in college) throwing touchdown passes in bunches, plus Springfield High's returning all-state receiver Cam Jones putting on a show.

Tune in on Thursday at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. for a feature on Mt. Zion's summer preparations, and then tune in on Friday for features on Godfrey and Brilley plus Moore's commitment to the Illini.
