DECATUR -- Eisenhower twins Katina and Tina Martin are less than two months away from making the trip to Cambridge, Mass. for their freshman year on the Harvard track and field team.

Katina says she went and visited her old teachers at Durfee and Johns Hill Magnet Schools this summer in preparation for moving east. She and Tina got their starts at those middle schools prior to racking up multiple state sprinting titles at Eisenhower.

But there's still work to be done before they kickoff their college careers: chiefly the USA Track & Field Region 7 Junior Olympic Championships hosted by Ball State in Muncie, Ind. If they perform well there, they'll reach the national meet in North Carolina scheduled for later this summer.

In this WAND feature, the twins prepare for their final challenge as high school runners.

For updates from Muncie, visit the USATF website.
