Springfield considers library policy change


SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND)- The Springfield City Council is set to consider changes to policy at the city’s public library.

The ordinance change, which is on the council’s agenda for Tuesday, would forbid the public from being on the Lincoln Library grounds between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. without permission.

The ordinance would also forbid smoking and tobacco products on the library grounds.
