DMH warns of scam callers using their number

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Decatur Memorial Hospital is warning people of a potential phone scam where someone is using its caller ID.
DMH has received calls from patients and caregivers saying they were called by numbers that appear to be from DMH, but are not.
The callers ask for bank account numbers and personal information.
DMH said someone is spoofing their phone number.
Anyone who receives one of these calls should immediately hang up. If you are not sure whether the call is actually from DMH, call back on the main switchboard number (876-8121). 
You should also call your local police department to report the scam call.
