DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – A Decatur business owner says a group of people broke in and stole guns from the building he works in.

Macon County deputies told WAND-TV it happened between 4:30 p.m. on July 6 and 9 a.m. the following morning. They say a group of people forced their way through the back of the Auction Facility Office (2102 NW Route 121) in Decatur and took nine total weapons.

Those weapons included pistols and shotguns, which owner Cody Redman said were taken from a locked safe area. A full list of them can be found in the attached paper notice.

Redman says he’s offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest and the recovery of the guns. He wants anyone with information to call (217)519-9541. The reward notice says there will be “no questions asked” if the right information is found.

Deputies are investigating the burglary.
