DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – Two men robbed a third man at gunpoint in Decatur, police say.

At about 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 30, officers say Derrezz Tyus, 24, came to a house in the 200 block of E. Olive St. and asked the victim to come outside and talk. The man followed Tyus and onto the sidewalk, where police say a second man was waiting. A sworn statement says that unknown person pointed a gun at the victim.

The victim then threw everything in his pockets on the ground before the man pointing the gun picked them up, police say, and then left the scene with Tyus.

Tyus is facing an armed robbery charge. His bond is set at $50,000 in Macon County after police arrested him Tuesday.

Detectives say they're still looking for the second suspect.
