SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - All four suspects accused of murder after police found a man’s body in a hotel are behind bars.

Officers tell WAND-TV they arrested 29-year-old Brandy Tate on Friday in connection to the death of Michael Trone, 53. They found him at about 2 p.m. on Sept. 7 at a Springfield hotel, which is located in the 3400 block of Freedom Drive.

An autopsy revealed Trone died from strangulation. Sangamon County’s coroner added the injury was “consistent with a homicide in manner”.

Investigators issued first-degree murder and robbery warrants for Tate and three other people, include 38-year-old Chad Martin, 33-year-old James Lyman and 23-year-old Callie Pierce, on Thursday. Those three suspects were already behind bars at the Sangamon County Jail.

Police are still looking for information about the case. Anyone with more is asked to call Springfield police at (217)788-8411. Sangamon/Menard County Crime Stoppers is accepting anonymous tips at (217)788-8427.
