Harlem Globetrotters visiting Springfield school


SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Harlem Globetrotters are visiting a Springfield school Wednesday.

The Harlem Globetrotters star Hoops Green will bring the "T.E.A.M up at School" program to Little Flowers School.

The new interactive presentation shows students bullying solutions through the acronym T.E.A.M. that stands for Talk, Empathize, Ask, and Mobilize.

The program was designed in coordination with the National Campaign to Stop Violence.

They will be presenting at the school at 1:45 p.m.

The Harlem Globetrotters will bring their 2019 Fan Powered World Tour to the Bank of Springfield Center in Springfield on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m.
