EVANSTON -- When Northwestern hits the turf at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Field on Saturday against Ohio State, the Wildcats will be relying heavily on one of the 217 area code's finest.

Jacksonville native Blake Hance graduated from JHS in 2014 after a standout career in football, basketball and baseball. Pair that with the extra bulk of going from a 240-pound tight end to a 310-pound tackle and Hance is now the anchor for the Big Ten West champions

Hance has devoted equal time and energy to his studies -- and he has a bachelor's degree in economics to show for it. He's now pursuing a master's degree in management studies at Northwestern's Kellogg School.

In this WAND profile, Blake shares his final few moments at Ryan Field following his Senior Day win over Illinois, and his father Ron Hance shares his perspective on Blake's final home game of his five-year career.
