STATEMENT TO VOTERS:
When I was elected Sheriff of Macon County, I kept politics out of the office. I lived within my budget and returned funds to the county board every year. I also developed many new programs within that office and look forward to bringing creativity to the Decatur City Council. My budget and operations as sheriff were transparent so that the public could have trust in our agency. "Service" was our motto.
I have served Macon County for 31 years and hope to serve the City of Decatur for the next four years. I believe in fiscal responsibility and I pledge full accountability to the citizens of our city.
