Blagojevich spends Friday at home after being removed from office
Former Governor Rod Blagojevich is spending his first day as a private citizen again in his Chicago home.
Publicist Justin Herndon says Blagojevich is spending time with family and resting, one day after being removed from office and banned from ever holding public office in Illinois again. Herndon says the ousted governor took his daily run on a treadmill.
Blagojevich is now the first U.S. governor in more than 20 years to be removed by impeachment.
