Central Illinois artists put up their works of art for an auction to benefit a Champaign clinic.
The 'Art for Hope' silent auction benefited the Hope Community Health Center.
The free clinic provides healthcare to those who can't afford it.
The silent auction comes at a time when donations are needed most.
The clinic's founder says as the economy gets worse...more patients are in need of healthcare and donations are in decline.
"We just need to have the support financially to have what we need in terms of medical supplies, office supplies and I'm hoping with my fingers crossed we can raise enough money to maybe even hire someone to answer the phones on a regular basis," says Founder Dr. Chris Madrano.
The Hope Community Health Center on S. Second Street opened this fall and is run mostly by volunteers.
