In about two months more than 1,000 Decatur Caterpillar production workers will be out of work. Now local agencies say they want to help those who face job loss prepare for their future.
Richland Community College is partnering with the Illinois Department of Employment Security and the Workforce Investment Board to give workers who will be laid off new hope.
If you've been laid off, RCC's Hope Academy will offer two free non-credit courses on February 23rd to help with job searches and education.
