Jerry Bristow is accused of stealing $1,500 in cash and six guns from a police evidence vault and then pawning them to pay off debt.
On Wednesday he entered a plea of not guilty. He'll be in court again in April for a pre-trial hearing. Bristow faces eight felony charges, and if convicted could pay fines and possibly spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Bristow worked as an "evidence technician" at the Clinton Police Department since 2002.
