Funeral arrangements set for soldier killed in Afghanistan
Funeral arrangements are set for an Illinois National Guard soldier who was killed last weekend in Afghanistan by an improvised explosive device.
Twenty-seven-year-old Staff Sergeant Jason Burkholder once lived in Champaign. A service will take place in Marshall Monday night where his wife lives. It's from seven to nine p.m. at Truth Tabernacle Church.
Burkholder's parents live in Ohio and another service will be held there. The guard says those details have not yet been worked out.
