New website tracks impact of stimulus plan in Illinois

As parts of the federal economic stimulus measure take effect you can track how they impact Illinois.

The state launched the Illinois Recovery website Saturday. Governor Quinn says the site will follow projects, spending and job creation. It will also list state-run programs getting funding, including unemployment benefits, food stamps and more. The site will also connect you to agency sites where you can see proposed project lists when they're available. You can even suggest an eligible project.
