DECATUR- A march for justice for all especially, in the school system.
Thursday evening the local NAACP chapter in Decatur rallied for equality for their children alongside the National Office who started a 40 day march on Saturday to raise awareness nationally for injustices in the United States.
President of Decatur's NAACP Dr. Jeanelle Norman said, " We want to make sure American knows what issues are in each community and try and get some resolve. We want to move forward we can't move forward if people don't recognize what the issues are and try and address those issues."
Addressing more than just education the organization will hold their next forum on the criminal justice system in Decatur on August 20 and the Voter's Rights Act on September 15.
