DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – Police say a child ran in front of a car after it turned and ended up getting hit.
Police say it happened just after 6 p.m. along West Macon Street, when the car turned from Heyworth Avenue onto Macon. That's when it made contact with the child.
Officers say the child is expected to make a full recovery from minor injuries.
