Decatur ranked in top 2 percent of cities with least credit card debt

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – Decatur residents may be experiencing longer-than-normal wait times to pay bills and receive related customer service, after City officials confirm they are dealing with technical issues.

According to the City, certain processing issues are complicating their ability to provide the normal level of service.

The City said they implemented a computer software upgrade on Nov. 14 and despite successful tests of the new system beforehand, they are currently running into issues that they are working to resolve. 

Due to the issues telephone call wait time, in-person transaction time, and other customer service functions may take more time than normal.
