Coaches charged with sex crimes against teens enter pleas

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – Two school coaches accused of making sexual advances toward teens have entered not guilty pleas.

Macon County court records show Dylan Nunn and Matthew Krause, both 26, put their pleas in this week. Both men worked at Eisenhower High School when police arrested them.

Police say Nunn, who coached freshman girls’ basketball at Eisenhower, is charged with having conversations with a 14-year-old girl on Snapchat in which they talked about having sex. Sworn statements say the teen, who thought of Nunn as her boyfriend, sent him a photo of her in underwear.

Nunn was also a security guard at Hope Academy.

Krause, an Eisenhower softball coach, is accused of sending nude photos to a teen.

Court records say Nunn, who faces charges of indecent solicitation of a child and grooming, has a pre-trial hearing scheduled for May 31. Krause faces charges of indecent solicitation of a child and sexual exploitation of a child and will have a hearing on the same date.
