GEORGETOWN, Ill. (WAND) - Georgetown Fire Department said they are investigating a massive explosion from Thursday night. 

The Vermilion County Sheriff's Office said first responders were called to the 6700 block of Old Dam Road in Georgetown. 

The explosion happened around 7:50 p.m. on the south end of town. Luckily there were no injuries reported. 

It took crews seven hours to battle the fire. 

Mutual aid was called into Ridgefarm, Westville, Tilton and Chrisman. 

The fire and explosion remain under investigation.
