LA PLACE, Ill. (WAND) — One driver is dead and another is in the hospital after a crash on Illinois Route 32 south of La Place Wednesday.
It happened at the intersection of IL 32 and US Route 36 around 10:45 a.m.Â
Illinois State Police said a semi-truck pulled into the intersection driving on IL 32 when it's trailer was hit by a semi going down US 36.Â
Both drivers were taken to the hospital, where one of them died.
The intersection was closed until around 4:30 p.m.
