DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - This is the time of year when shelters nationwide have an influx of kittens.
Macon County Animal Control said it is at capacity right now.
Have have more than 80 cats needing homes.
Shelter officials told WAND News cat owners can help curb this problem by having their pets spayed or neutered.
The Macon County Animal Shelter is running a special on adult cats to promote adoptions.
The adoption fee is $40.
Customers can also spin a special wheel for an even lower fee.
