New Cafe in Decatur

DECATUR -  The former Wickes Lumber in Decatur is transformed into USA-CLEAN.

USA-CLEAN provides parts and repairs on floor cleaning equipment nationwide for clients like Wal Mart, Sears, hospitals, schools, and universities.

President Bruce Bushert says a nearly million dollar investment has been made at the 50-thousand square foot facility at 2830 North 22nd Street. They refurbish scrubbers, buffers, and other cleaning equipment and also recycle. 50 employees work at the warehouse that includes a tech support staff, sales staff, and technicians.

Bushert, who is a graduate of Argenta-Oreana, owned his own carpet cleaning business for many years then turned to repairs. He says he believes in Decatur and sees its advantages with the Inland Port and central location.
